Funzionamento
L'area di scambio termico di uno scambiatore di calore a piastre con guarnizione è costituita da una serie di piastre corrugate, assemblate tra un telaio e piastre di pressione per mantenere la pressione. Le guarnizioni fungono da guarnizioni tra le piastre. I liquidi normalmente corrono controcorrente attraverso lo scambiatore di calore.
